# Gunzip and Unzip Fastq files for Windows at NVI
1. Install 7zip from http://software.vetinst.no/ into your windows
2. Click on the 7zip and choose the file you need to gunzip
3. Choose the "gzip" option in "Archive Format" qnd  click "OK".
